the 'man in a blue truck' is my father, who tends to be a reserved man anyways. He just does things for others without asking for thanks, hence him leaving but not before pulling the man to safety.
I love him so much and reading this makes me miss him (as I am currently in Florence and him, Ontario) 1000 times more.
